Program Planning Yes, CREP will help workplaces set up education committees.
Individual and Organizational Assessment Yes, both individual and organizational assessments.
Customized Programs All CREP programs are customized, adapting to shift schedules and developing tools, form and content that are appropriate to the given workplace.

Provision Programs are taught by either experienced adult educators or in-house peer tutors trained by the Centre.

Instructor and Tutor Training CREP will provide training for in-house instructors and tutors.
Clear Language Yes
Research Yes, CREP has produced curriculum on: "Intercultural Issues at Work"; Prior Learning Assessment; with the International Council for Adult Education (ICAE), a kit and video entitled "Nos Compétences Fortes" ("Our Strengths") targetted at beginning readers and writers; and specific topics related to workplace education. We have also developed the "Programme de développement des compétences de base reliées au travail" ("Workplace Basic Skills Program") consisting of a diagnostic tool as well as seven basic skills modules.

Information Sessions and Presentations - Does the organization provide information sessions about workplace education? Do they use kits, videos or other materials in these presentations?

Program Planning - Does the organization assist workplaces in planning programs? What kind of planning does the organization encourage or suggest (for example: joint labour-management committees, union committees, collaborative planning, etc.)

Organizational and Individual Assessment - Does the organization research and analyze the organization's needs as well as the individual's? Do they examine the changes in the organization and their impact on employees.

Customized Programs - Does the organization tailor programs to the needs of the particular workplace or do they deliver an already established program?

Curriculum Development - Is the organization involved in developing curriculum appropriate to each workplace's needs or each participant's needs?

Provision - Who actually teaches the program? (for example, school board or community college instructors, adult educators, peer tutors or instructors).

Program Evaluation - In addition to evaluating individual progress, does the organization evaluate the program as a whole? What kind of evaluation does it encourage?

Program Costs - What are the costs to the workplace of setting up a workplace education program?

Financial Assistance - Is financial assistance available for programs?

Resources - What resources are available for programs?

Instructor and Tutor Training - Does the organization provide professional development or instructor and tutor training for those who deliver workplace education programs?

Clear Language - Does the organization address the need for clear language in the workplace? Do they provide workshops on clear language?

Research - Is the organization involved in any research related to workplace education?
